Haunted Legends: Stone Guest

Haunted Legends: Stone Guest is a well crafted game that belongs to the hidden object genre in which you have to help a scientist friend overcome a great trouble that occurs through apparent coincidence.

The story starts off with a cinematic that shows the success of a scientist in creating an artificial heart that saves his son’s life. Unfortunately, at the same time he manages to succeed in creating it, multiple orphan children go missing and the doctor is accused of murder and darker deeds.

It’s your job to investigate these happenings and try to find a way to clear the doctor’s name. As you approach your destination, the carriage you travel in is destroyed by a strange man who is accompanied by an even stranger being. He is deliberately trying to stop you so you start to wonder, what is actually going on?

Like with all hidden object games, to get to the bottom of it all you have to look closely to find various objects of all kinds that you can use to open a locked door, repair a broken mechanism and so on. Haunted Legends: Stone Guest can be played in multiple degrees of difficulty, the difference between them being the amount of interactive help you get from the game.

As far as puzzles go, some are more difficult than others but all of them are interesting to solve. If you’re a fan of the genre, you’ve certainly seen some of the puzzles before but most of them will probably be new to you, which is a good thing.

Haunted Legends: Stone Guest’s story is an interesting one that tends to captivate you immediately if you like a bit of mystery from time to time.
