Having a desk job is usually not the most fulfilling way to live your life, especially if you work for very little money and the hours are long. However, it’s possible to get used to it over the years and focus on other things, such as hobbies or your family. Few people get their dream job, so at least you can kind of take comfort in the thought that you are not alone.

Full Service is a yaoi visual novel in which you play the role of an anti-social boy by the name of Tomoki Nakamoto, who’s trying to get through his life as quietly as possible. The game does not excel in terms of storytelling techniques or plot complexity, but it’s certainly a fun adventure, not to mention all the romance options and the naughty things that are part of the experience.

Speaking of which, the story kicks off when Tomoki stumbles onto a man on the street who invites him to a fancy spa somewhere in town, where the guests also get massages from hulky and friendly men. Obviously, you can pursue romantic relationships with most of them, which allows you to play the game multiple times and choose different routes.

The spa itself is where you can also enjoy a few mini-games that break the routine, such as the massage mini-game or a few others. Dialog is important as well, on the other hand, since that’s how you can charm your way into the arms of a partner. Granted, it’s not difficult to figure out which answers are needed in order to succeed in your task, but the freedom to pick from multiple partners is certainly engaging.

The graphics are commendable as well, especially when it comes to character design, because it’s obvious from the first frame that the artists have a lot of experience. Each background contains a lot of detail as well, and there are plenty of them, so you won’t get bored too soon. Not much can be said about the music, but then again it’s not too annoying either, which is a plus.

In the end, Full Service is clearly not for everyone, but then again most games aren’t this day and age. Hence, it should please a very specific section of the market, which is exactly its goal. You can make sure the full version comes out by supporting the project on Kickstarter.
