Fruit Ninja for Windows 8

Created exclusively for touchscreen devices, Fruit Ninja has finally made its way to PC and more importantly to Windows 8.

Featuring one of the simplest gameplays you've ever seen, Fruit Ninja has quite easily attracted millions of players from around the world. Their goal is to beat the high score and they try and master their "ninja slicing" techniques.

The game features three different modes so players will not get bored. There is the classic mode where you will just have to slice as many fruits as you can in order to gain points. You can lose only three different fruits and if you hit a bomb, the game is over.

The Zen mode allows you to reach a high score without having to worry about nasty bombs or about losing fruits. When playing this mode the only thing you need to pay attention to are the fruits and how many combos you can achieve. The only drawback here is that you only have 90 seconds to play.

The Arcade mode is also time limited to only 60 seconds. In the Arcade mode players will have to gain as many points as possible while trying to avoid the bombs and slashing fruits. Each bomb you hit in this mode will remove 10 seconds from your time. There are special bananas that carry power-ups.

With global achievements and leaderboards, the game get highly addictive. The need to beat your own score, your friend's score or just to reach a certain number of points will eat away minutes and eventually hours. So whenever you have some free time consider giving this game a try.
