Five Nights at Treasure Island Simulator Demo
Scare the guard and make sure to avoid the cameras in this interesting FNaF simulator with a different perspective. #Fnaf simulator #Horror game #Five nights at freddy's #Fnaf #Treasure #Horror
Five Nights at Freddy’s is a surprisingly popular franchise, especially when you consider the fact that it’s not the most refined or the most full of content. On the other hand, it does feature a unique set of gameplay mechanics and very effective jump scares, at least if you are a casual gamer looking for a cheap thrill. Naturally, there are all sorts of spin-offs and remakes out there from other indie developers.
Five Nights at Treasure Island Simulator is a bit different from the classic FNaF formula, in the sense that you are actually playing as the monsters instead of the guard. However, the gameplay is nowhere near as refined as in the original, even if you can have a bit of fun with it as well. Thus, the game needs a bit more work before it can keep you busy for longer than a few minutes.
To begin with, there are multiple characters to choose from, all of which are classic characters from the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise. Not all of them are available in the beginning, on the other hand, which means that the rest must be unlocked by completing the other levels. The annoying part is that you are provided with a three-letter password you can use to unlock a specific character, but they do not stay unlocked. Hence, you have to keep those codes somewhere handy, otherwise you have to win them again.
The gameplay is basically a succession of mouse clicks, since you have to click on the blinking rooms in order to move and get closer to the guard’s room. Your goal is to enter this room when the camera is not on and attack the guard, which is pretty simple to do once you figure out how everything works. Hence, almost every level can be completed in 1-2 minutes, which is a bit of a shame.
There’s not much you can enjoy in the graphics department either, because the scenes are fixed and non-interactive, not to mention way too dark to make something out. It’s understandable for a horror game to feature darkness, but too much of it can hurt the overall experience. Not only that, but it also feels very cheap and lazy.
When it’s all said and done, Five Nights at Treasure Island Simulator is not a very bad game, but it’s rather empty and boring at the moment, especially if you are not a newcomer to the franchise. Hence, it needs more stuff and better graphics to keep you entertained for longer than a few short minutes.
