Swap elements with each other in order to achieve balance and discover the elixir of life in the process #Casual game #Swap game #Leonardo da vinci #Element #Swap #Match
Regardless of how great Leonardo Da Vinci might have been, not even he was able to unravel the secrets of mortality, otherwise he would still be around to this day. However, that doesn’t stop people from imagining things, ranging from pertinent assumptions about what he may have theorized, all the way to ludicrous conspiracies involving secret societies.
Elements is a casual arcade game in which you have to combine items in order to make them disappear and keep doing so until there’s nothing left to combine or create. There’s not much more to it than that, so if you are looking for something more intricate or with a more mature storyline, this is not the type of game that would sparkle any kind of interest to you.
Speaking of which, there are a few explanations for what’s happening on the screen, although they are not in any way realistic or believable. In essence, it all revolves around the basic elements of creation, namely fire, water, earth, and a few other unusual combinations. By unlocking all of them until the end of the game, you get the formula for the elixir of life, which was supposedly concocted by Leonardo himself.
Getting combos requires a bit of practice, because there are multiple moves you can make at any given time. Hence, it is also possible to make less inspired choices and end up in tricky situations, although when that happens, the game automatically spawns additional items for you to play around with. However, if you make too many moves, you lose the chance to win trophies.
Visually, the game is certainly not fantastic, but it is colorful enough for it not to matter all that much. Each element is unique and there is some interesting artwork to gaze at along the way, even if you’ll be staring at colorful cubes and sphere for most of the time. The soundtrack is a bit disappointing, on the other hand, because it gets repetitive rather quickly.
All things considered, Elements is certainly not an original product, but it is well-polished and good-looking, which might win it some fans. There are plenty of levels and game modes to choose from, so you can have a lot of fun with it whenever you feel like relaxing for a while.
