Dimension Drive

Dimension Drive is an arcade shoot 'em up that promotes a unique concept. The title is built around the idea of dimensional jumps allowing the player to switch between two interconnected realities.

Many centuries ago, the ancient race of Ashajuls developed powerful warp drives that allowed them to reach the far corners of the universe and aided them to conquer it. It seems though, that the known universe was not enough for these warriors and now they want to proclaim themselves the masters of all known dimensions.

Here is where you step in as Jackeline Tywood, the captain of a legendary space ship called Fliegende capable of jumping between dimensions.

Your task is not easy, as you will have to try and stop the Ashajuls fleet from conquering the known dimensions all by yourself.

As mentioned before, the Fliegende is a remarkable ship that gives you the power to jump between dimensions at any given time, taking the fight on two fronts at once.

For that, you will have to constantly manage your dimension energy that will slowly deplete when shooting your main weapons. To replenish the lost energy you will have to switch dimensions and destroy the enemies on the other side.

Besides firing your weapons, the dimension energy can also be used to recharge your shield giving you better chances of survival in tough situations when the enemy forces are overwhelming.

Also, destroying the Ashajuls fleet in one dimension will replenish your energy tank in the other giving you the firepower needed to battle giant bosses.

Dimension Drive is a fun space shooter that chose to add an interesting twist to this old genre, providing players with a challenging mechanic that will take a while to fully master it.

In its current stage, the game needs a bit more polishing and the addition of a few weapons variations will surely be more than welcomed by players.
