Dependable Daisy: The Wedding Makeover is a simple match-three game in which you have to solve levels by clearing certain tiles and solving a few other basic puzzles. The actual purpose is to help plan a wedding and decorate the venue, but you don’t actually get to see too much of that, which is a bit of a shame. The match-3 mechanics are fairly boring after a while, because they do not really change along the way.

Hence, you play the role of a girl by the name of Daisy, who is helping her friend Zoe get her wedding venue ready. As it happens, her old venue did not work out, so there’s a limited period of time to prepare and decorate a new one, which is quite the challenge. On the other hand, you can get the task done if you put a bit of effort into it.

Each stage features multiple levels that need to be completed in order to receive the item at the end, and unfortunately the recipe does not change along the way. You keep doing the same thing over and over again for hours, which obviously gets boring. On the other hand, match-three games are usually quite repetitive, but the always suck you back in after a while.

Lastly, the graphics are not particularly impressive either, especially when it comes to the backgrounds, which barely change between levels. Granted, at least the tiles are different when you tackle a new challenge, even if they do not come with special properties or unique effects. Not much can be said about the soundtrack either, because it tends to fade into the background.

Unfortunately, Dependable Daisy: The Wedding Makeover is not as fun as it advertises itself to be, which is quite the bummer.
