Dead In Bermuda Demo
A survival game in which the fate of eight different people depends on your actions and decisions #Survival game #Survival RPG #Adventure RPG #Survive #Survival #RPG
Dead In Bermuda is a survival game that features eight distinct characters, each one with his or her personality and unknown background. The game comes with a relaxed design and casual gameplay mechanics, but it’s all about survival in a real way.
Having to make sure eight airplane crash survivors make it back home in one piece seems like a big task. After the tutorial of the game and seeing just how many variables there are, the above becomes an understatement.
Not only does each one have a unique personality that can influence the dynamic of the group, but you will face times when there will not be enough food for all, one can get sick, another can be bitten by a snake while exploring the island and so on. Dead In Bermuda is created to take in consideration all the primary dangers that someone might face while stranded on an island with no clear way of reaching civilization again.
More so, the characters are of different ages and with no background for any of them, you never know who these people are and what they are capable of doing in a survival scenario. Dead In Bermuda’s demo contains five days worth of playtime, and it uses it to its advantage. Right toward the end, two events are triggered, and both of them seriously complicate the game in an interesting way.
Although Dead In Bermuda is serious about the way, it puts you face to face with your tasks, the way it looks and plays could let out a different impression. The gameplay consists in dragging characters to one of the several role positions, clicking on item uses, and more clicking. There is no combat, not in the traditional way at least. However, it’s still engaging.
Dead In Bermuda allows its players to take their time when it comes to decision making. You have enough of it to see which pairs of characters have the best chemistry, who can’t work together well and so on. In most aspects, Dead In Bermuda has all the good kind of polishing.
The only aspect that can get tedious is dragging the characters to their active or passive spots. It would have been a lot better if you had a right-click menu to choose where you want a character rather than dragging him or her to it. Other than that, it’s all smooth and good looking. As a plus, the story might really get a hold of you.
On a closing note, the demo was just long enough to get a feel of how things work and what to expect. In both cases, Dead In Bermuda catches your attention and certainly keeps it alive throughout the gameplay.
