Dancing with a Beautiful Robot Demo

Robots are getting more impressive every day, especially since the AI technology is advancing at a rapid pace, thanks to all the big tech companies working in the field. On the other hand, we are nowhere near actual androids walking amongst us, but we are definitely getting closer to that every day. Video games are always thinking ahead, however, so you can get a glimpse into a possible future.

Dancing with a Beautiful Robot is a visual novel in which you play the role of a character trying to contain his or her feelings for a futuristic robot with a human side. The goal of the game is to make decisions that affect that course of the story, which means that every playthrough has the potential to be different, depending on what you choose to do along the way.

The action takes place in a company where romance is forbidden for some reason, and this company is managing Mettaton, a pop star robot programmed to be talented. However, it would appear that another TV channel is trying to imitate Mettaton, which would affect your profits. Hence, you must make sure that doesn’t happen, which is easier said than done.

Besides managing the crisis with the pop star, it’s also important to deal with all the emotions flying around, whether they are yours or the android’s. Depending on what you say and do you can reach a different result with the robot by the end of the story. Don’t expect too much complexity from the demo at hand, but things are going to be more interesting in the final version.

As far as the graphics are concerned, there are not many backgrounds in the demo, but the characters are definitely interesting and well-designed. There’s not much more to say about it at this time, given the fact that the demo is very short and to the point. The soundtrack is not bad either, and we can only hope that things are going to be just as nice in the full version.

All things considered, Dancing with a Beautiful Robot could easily become a great visual novel if the developers keep working just as hard. The sci-fi elements are fairly intriguing if you are a fan of robots.
