Controlling an army is as simple as clicking on it and then clicking on the position you want to move it to, or the army you want it to attack. Other options become available along the way, such as training your men in barracks to make them better warriors, or increasing your army to handle a continuous stream of enemies. While it’s certainly important to have well-trained warriors, the rule of the game is that the largest army generally wins the battle.

As for the user interface, things are incredibly simple in this regard as well, especially if you are familiar with how most strategy games work. In fact, everyone should be able to figure things out in just a few minutes, regardless of how experienced you are with the genre. Moreover, the graphics are simple too, which means that the game should run on almost any computer.

All things considered, Crush Your Enemies is quite the achievement, especially if you enjoy simple strategy games with addictive gameplay mechanics. Everything about it begs you to keep playing at least one more round, which is why the sunrise might catch you in a barbarian outfit if you don’t pay attention to the time.
