Different tools must be used for each type of sample and you can also bag the items for further study in the lab, where you have more instruments at your disposal.

As with the previous installment, the game features the original cast from the TV series voicing their characters, which can only add to the overall experience. Moreover, the plot evolves over the course of the various cases you come across, each one of which gets more difficult as you advance through them, thus putting your creativity and intuition to the test.

Since the game does not have to deal with too many open environments or a lot of objects on screen at the same time, the available scenes are very detailed and refined. Hence, every object is carefully modeled as close to reality as possible, even when it comes to the people that make their appearance throughout the story. It should be noted that you will come across a few gruesome scenes as well, featuring mangled bodies or even autopsies.
