Time management games are among the most popular in the line of casual gamers and for a good reason. They’re easy to play, challenging in a relaxing way, and at times, they have a nice story to back them up. So is the case with Brownies, a TM game that leaves you in a magical world inhabited by little people, from which you need to return.

In terms of what you get from the game, apart from a new story, there’s really nothing innovative. If you’re new to the genre, then you might appreciate the small gameplay mechanics that make a difference when it comes to the time you finish a level in.

But other than that, it’s all pretty standard and laidback. After all, time management games are mainly aimed to be a means of spending a few minutes or hours without having to worry too much about anything outside the game. Although, even the latter doesn’t ask much of you.

One of the things that keep you going, basically doing the same thing over and over, is the storyline. In the case of Brownies, it’s actually interesting. After all, you went to see your grandma and all of a sudden you’re trapped in a miniature fantasy world that’s intertwined with yours.

It seems like a nice place to live, the folks are friendly, almost all of them, there are places to see and a lot of work to do. However, you still need to find your way back, and on that quest, you’re accompanied by a bunch of interesting characters.

On a closing note, Brownies is a great choice for time management fans, or for those who just want to pass the time. It looks nice, it’s easy to play but not all the time, and most of all, it’s a relaxing experience.
