Boarder Zone Demo
A snowboarding simulator that allows you to compete in a variety of challenges and prove your skills #Snowboard simulator #Winter sport #Alps snowboard #Border #Zone #Snowboard
Snowboarding can be quite the dangerous sport, especially when it is practiced on unsupervised tracks, filled with rocks, holes and a high avalanche risk. However, professional athletes can get the most out of every situation, even if it means putting their life at risk every time they go down the slope and ignore the obvious danger signs.
Boarder Zone is a simulator in which you get to do the same thing, only without the life-threatening risks and with far less broken bones in the end. Moreover, you can try out different boards and experience a variety of tracks, some of which may pose more difficulties than others. In the end, having fun is all that matters, although the record times are also quite important as well.
There are multiple game modes to choose from, depending on how you want to approach the sport, such as time trial, trick, or race. While time trial and race are fairly self-explanatory, trick requires you to perform a number of stunts as you descend down the slopes. Naturally, in order to achieve this, you must make use of the ramps scattered across the track, which make things much simpler.
As you keep on scoring high and passing the finish line first, you get to win competitions and unlock more content, including other boarders, better boards, or even entire tracks and challenges. Toward the end, the game should feature enough levels and equipment choice to make everyone happy, although the differences between them when it comes to gameplay are almost null.
Visually, the game does not look bad by any means, although a lot more detail could have went into the actual levels. Despite that, the characters are well animated and the objects are nicely modeled, even if the textures are rather low resolution. Unfortunately, the physics engine is quite unimpressive and sometimes frustrating, especially since you immediately come to an instant halt once you leave the snow-covered track.
Although Boarder Zone might just be directed toward those who really love the sport itself, everyone can have a good time with it, especially thanks to the simple mechanics and the easy-to-learn controls. Moreover, the game is addictive enough to provide you with a few hours of entertainment.
