The user interface is not exactly friendly at first, but once you manage to get accustomed to it, you realize that it has everything you need and the functions are quite logically positioned for easy access. The match engine is a tad disappointing, on the other hand, but it is only there as a way for you to visualize what’s happening on the pitch anyway, so it doesn’t really matter how good or how bad it looks.

In the end, Baseball Mogul 2009 should have enough content to please almost any baseball fan, as long as you don’t have any expectations when it comes to graphics. The simulation engine and the depth of the game are satisfactory, on the other hand, so the experience should be more than enough for any enthusiast.
