Asterix: MegaSlap is an arcade game in which you'll have to prove that Gauls are still the most powerful humans on Earth thanks to Getafix's magic potion.

With the ongoing Roman campaign to conquer the world, a small village in Gaul still manages to resist the mighty Roman army despite all the efforts made to subdue them. Their secret lies in a magical potion brewed by their druid Getafix, which gives superhuman strength to anyone that drinks it.

Today it happens to be the Festival of Punches, and all the Gauls are celebrating by challenging each other to see who manages to punch a Roman the farthest and here is where you come in.

As Asterix, you will have to prove you're the most powerful Gaul by sending that Roman soldier thousands of meters away from the village, thus winning a kiss from the beautiful Panacea.

As the roman flies through the air, he will have the chance to pass through some of the most iconic locations from the adventures of Asterix. From the Gaul village, to Lutetia, Rome, and even Egypt, our soldier will have the chance to see the world if he doesn't get completely knocked out by any chance.

In addition to that, each location is populated by various characters, such as Obelix, Dogmatix, Normans, Roman patrols, and even pirates. Falling on any of those characters will make the soldier bounce upwards once again, extending his flight distance.

To further increase the chances of getting a high score, you will be able to purchase various power-ups from the in-game store using the coins earned from each attempt.

Helmets, cloaks, helium, or the power of the gods, are just a few of the possible power-ups you can use to achieve a massive distance. Also, with each run, the soldier has the chance to catch laurels and unlock various hero cards that will tell the story of more than 30 unique characters.

Asterix: MegaSlap offers lots of reasons to play it again and again, mostly due to its wide range of power-ups that can be unlocked gradually as well as the constant challenges made by your friends thanks to the integrated online gameplay. The graphics also add up to the overall fun depicting a beautiful world similar with the one found in the original comic books.
