Approaching Infinity

Approaching Infinity takes you on a wild ride through the depths of space where you'll get to explore lots of planets, face ruthless enemies and vicious alien creatures, trade commodities, discover schematics and make alliances with various races.

Before starting your adventure in this twisted universe, you will have to choose one of the four available ship classes (Assault Scout, Trader, Light Explorer, and Asteroid Miner), each having different features in terms of weapons, armor, shield, crew, cargo space, and device slots.

Customizing your captain is also a few mouse clicks away, but you'll have the chance to choose the desired outfit and hair color, gender and starting weapon. When you're ready to go, just select the game's difficulty and press Play.

The universe in which you're throw is infinite, so you don't have to worry you'll explore so much that you might reach the end of it. During your adventure you can do lots of things, but maybe the most basic action of all is uncovering the dark areas of the map that will earn you Data points, which can be sold at the nearest outpost.

Upon uncovering your first planet, you can dock your spaceship and send your crew to explore it. This might be a really dangerous mission on some remote planets, but it might also help you find precious artifacts.

Besides planets, in your adventure you will also encounter space stations, shipwrecks, ruined cities, mercenary hideouts, ancient temples or alien embassies.

To have a better chance of survival and successfully complete the quests given, you can buy new ship parts (weapons, defenses, engines, etc.) and various devices that could give you the upper hand in battle. Moreover, you can also hire skilled officers that can gain new abilities each time they level up.

Get ready to engage in battle against pirates, mercenaries or any of the 12 alien races that populate the universe or create alliances and complete the quests they give you to improve your diplomatic relationship with them.
