Angry Arrows Demo

Angry Arrows made me a bit angry while playing but it’s justified. It’s an indie bow-and-arrow shooter that tests reflex and aiming skills like few others from its category do. This lightweight title, even in the demo form, will make you rage a bit, but you will always come back to it. It’s that good.

The first thing you will notice about Angry Arrows is that the AI controlled enemies don’t mess around, at all. They do miss occasionally, but in a lot of the cases, it’s like they’re able to see into the future because you will strafe right into their arrows.

When facing an enemy, it’s either you die, or he dies. And even if the enemy misses a shot, it is relentless, hunting you down is what it will do. There’s no running away from the enemy once it has a lock on you, and if you’re not careful and attract more attention, it’s almost impossible to defeat three of them. Angry Arrows certainly ramps up the difficulty level, but it’s well worth it. Each kill you get in this game is very satisfying. Moreover, the game even features a discrete sense of humor.

Setting aside the fact that Angry Arrows is tough, it’s also gifted with great gameplay and everything that revolves around it. In its current state, we recommend that you use a controller and have the patience to get familiar with aiming times and the dodge roll mechanic. Once you get a hang of those two, the game opens up, and it’s a lot of fun.

Keeping a close eye on enemy movement gives you the chance to trick them into shooting each other have them step on mines. Angry Arrows is a very well-balanced game that has a lot to offer if you’re looking for intense gameplay in which pure skill is what sets aside the winners from the rest.

Once its final coat of polishing is applied, Angry Arrows will create a few addictions or at least guarantee a good couple of hours of fun. Apart from a lengthy campaign, it will also offer wave-based gladiator, randomly generated rogue and arena versus modes. All of which translates into good clean fun.
