Agatha Christie: Peril at End House
Agatha Christie is back with another seek-and-find challenge for the brilliant detective Poirot #Agatha Christie #Peril at End House #Hercule Poirot #Agatha #Christie #Peril
Throughout the books, the famous detective Hercule Poirot has been through more than enough weird cases and adventures, not few of which put his life in danger. In Peril at End House, he tries very hard to stop a murder, aided by the always helpful Captain Hastings, who's at his side, ready to lend a hand when things get difficult.
Agatha Christie: Peril At End House takes after the events from the book and lets you solve the mystery by yourself, by solving a variety of puzzles along the way and analyzing the evidence. Naturally, since this is a spot-the-object game at core, your actual interaction with the case is merely symbolic, although you do get to hear the story from start to finish and at least marvel at the skills of the amazing Hercule Poirot.
Magdala "Nick" Buckley is the center of attention this time around, since the detective has it in his mind that someone might be plotting to murder her. Throughout the story, you find out a variety of clues that either lead to, or away from the suspects, only to reach a very interesting conclusion in the end. However, you do this by playing various mini-games and finding hidden objects in pictures, which might not always be so exciting.
In order to amplify the mystery and create a proper atmosphere, the game features a nice soundtrack and plenty of clever sound effects to keep you on your toes, as well as a rather curious visual style. When it comes to the levels themselves, they are designed in such a way as to picture scenes from the book, whether it's one of the resort rooms, or the lobby.
Graphically, the game excels when it comes to static backgrounds, since every object looks incredibly well and you can tell that a lot of effort when into creating the visual aspect. Even the moving elements are very nicely made, as are the characters themselves and the landscapes you get to admire along the way.
As everybody knows, you can become a brilliant detective if you watch one long enough to learn his methods. Thus, Agatha Christie: Peril at End House is the perfect opportunity to improve your deduction skills and have some fun in the process.
