Solve simple puzzles and play a variety of mini-games, while chasing medals and high scores #4 Leaf #Clover leaf #Puzzle game #Leaf #Clover #Puzzle
Children enjoy video games a lot more than adults do in some cases, but that doesn’t mean they want them to be just as complicated. In fact, a few bright colors and some whacky characters are all that’s needed to entertain the younger audience, but even those must be designed properly to keep them distracted. Otherwise, kids get bored quite quickly and there’s no way to win their attention back.
4 Leaf Clovers is more of an interactive children’s magazine, since it features many of the same concepts and it is filled with various mini-games that aim to provide the children with something to do. Hence, even if the game appears to be a point-and-click adventure at a first glance, things quickly evolve out of control and the perspective changes in a matter of seconds.
To start off with, there are actual puzzles you can solve, by simply moving the pieces around to end up with the right image. Not even these get very complicated, since they usually feature under ten pieces and they are big enough not to pose any serious challenges. Thus, the entire purpose of the game is to have fun, as well as learn a thing or two about various subjects.
Almost every game is designed to be a bit challenging from a logical point of view, but that doesn’t mean they’ll require too much thinking. As such, one of the mini-game asks the player to remember a face and rebuild it again from memory, using an inventory of body parts. There is also a puzzle in which a simple machine must be programmed to perform a few tasks in the correct order.
As far as the technical aspect is concerned, the game features basic, but nice graphics, which get the point across. The color scheme is exceedingly bright and it should attract the attention of the younger audience. A jolly soundtrack plays in the background as well, while the user interface is quite simple to grasp and very intuitive in most cases.
When it’s all said and done, 4 Leaf Clovers is not the smartest game out there, nor does it look stunning. However, it can get the job done if you need a short distraction for your kids, given the lovely puzzles and the simple user interface.
