Zombie Outbreak Shooter

Although it’s not very difficult to develop a first-person shooter nowadays, thanks to a variety of game engines available free of charge and with all the assets you could wish for, a bit of talent and creativity is still needed to produce something worth playing. Hence, there’s more to the genre than just mindless killing, because it’s a lot better when every death has a purpose.

Zombie Outbreak Shooter is a very straightforward FPS in which your goal is to shoot a certain number of zombies in order to clear the level, which is easier said than done. There’s nothing new here, so the game is obviously not designed for the hardcore lovers of the genre. Instead, occasional gamers can try their hand at killing zombies without having to get acquainted with difficult gameplay mechanics.

Each level requires you to kill more and more zombies, which means that it gets pretty difficult to survive later on. However, you also unlock better weapons every two levels, weapons that deal more damage and are more precise than the pistol you start with. Hence, whether it’s a shotgun or the famous AK-47, everything you unlock is theoretically better.

The zombies can also drop ammunition for your weapons and various health boosts, which come in handy all the time. Thankfully, you can amount up to 200 points of health, which means that you can pick up packs even right after you spawn. On the other hand, zombies only need to get a few feet from you to start damaging you, which is a bit silly and annoying.

The same can be said about the graphics quality, because this is certainly not the kind of game that can be enjoyed nowadays. Obviously, it’s designed to run on mobile devices and even the weakest computers, so at least you do not have to worry about that. Even the sound effects are pretty laughable, although they can be turned off with ease.

All things considered, Zombie Outbreak Shooter is made to appeal to very new gamers that are just getting started with shooters and video games in general. Even so, there are much better alternatives out there if quality is what you are after.
