Wisper

Many games make you go somewhere and fight certain monsters, or gather resources, or craft recipes, but at some point you get exhausted and just want to do something simple, meaningless and fun. Casual game usually fail at that department since they go to the opposite end of the spectrum and become so meaningless in the way they present their missions that the whole game seems meaningless. One game that doesn't fall into that trap is Wisper, a beautifully crafted casual game where you play as a wind spirit out to help everyone on the island you live in.

Wisper is a lighthearted game where the player takes control of the wind! Explore the beautiful island of Sunshore and help out the Shellster inhabitants with their daily lives. They don't ask you to slay anything, they just ask you to help them make their life better, such as using you magical wind powers to push them on the swing, or help elders find their lost hat, or simply clean away all the dust that's set on shrines.

The graphic style is neat, although the low poly-count could be a bit of a turn-off for some. Nonetheless, if you appreciate the style and not the execution that you will absolutely fall in love with this game. The soundtrack also goes well with the graphics, as it helps complete the overall relaxing feel of the game, making you feel as if the island is where you'd actually want to live when you need to loosen some steam.

Sometimes the best games out there are the ones that make you feel a lot of things while doing very little, and Wisper is precisely one of those games. It is the epitome of what it means to be "casual" and you won't regret going through it at least once.
