Where Is My Hammer: Destroy Everything!
Grab a large hammer and smash a house and everything in it to little pieces without any remorse #Destroy house #Swing hammer #Physics simulator #Hammer #Destroy #Physics
Where Is My Hammer is one of those things that’s built solely for the purpose of having physics while also being a means of blowing off steam. In this game, all you have to do is smash stuff with a large hammer. That’s it, and, if you think about it, since there’s no end-game scenario, it’s not even a game per se.
There’s no diving into the subtleties of the game because there are none. You have a hammer and a house that can be destroyed. For those who enjoy a bit of mayhem, Where Is My Hammer should be an appealing game. After all, breaking stuff with a large hammer is always fun.
The amount of things you have to smash will keep you busy for a long time if you intend to not leave anything intact. However, Where Is My Hammer has its fair share of bugs and not everything will be smashable, there are those annoying ghost walls or objects that just won’t allow hitting.
Although the idea to Where Is My Hammer seems to be very fun, and to some extent it is, once you start playing it you get to see how underwhelming the whole experience actually is. The gameplay mechanics are OK, and the physics are above decent, but there will be plenty of annoyances.
In a lot of cases, you can’t walk around the house without just touching something with the hammer and see it get destroyed. It’s not cool. Moreover, the biggest flaw of the game is the lack of proper audio effects. Part of the thrill and satisfaction of hitting something with a hammer is hearing the sound that comes out. In Where Is My Hammer, the audio is very plain, shallow; it cuts out a huge part of the enjoyment that this game could offer.
To end, Where Is My Hammer is a nice game to have around for when you feel like smashing something in the digital world. Since there are no goals or something to drive you, it might get tedious really fast.
Where Is My Hammer needs a revisit, a few updates in gameplay and some audio improvements.
