The wild cards on the other hand, can be played at any time with the exception that the Wild Draw Four card can only be discarded if that player has no cards that match the current color on the table.

Although it might sound simple, UNO requires a bit of strategy as well as a little bit of luck to win a match. Choosing when to play specific cards might not have the expected outcome in a round but, planning your next move in advance could pay off now and then.
