Trix

Trex, Tricks or Babu, is a card game that uses an entire deck of cards (minus the Jokers) and has four players taking turns to accumulate as many points as possible in a series of sub games. There are no teams to make, each player has to battle for their own points and each one is allowed at one point to choose the mini game that is to be played.

Trix is an easy to use application that allows you to play the game with the same name in a simple and carefree manner. If you're not familiar with the rules, it’s best you look them up on the Internet because what Trix has built in as help won't do you much good. Although, even so, the rules are very easy to pick up just by observing but you still need to know the scoring details for its five sub games.

The game doesn’t come with a multiplayer mode because you can’t not see what cards the other players hold so it’s just going to be you against the AI.

In the looks department, Trix doesn’t shine in any particular way but that doesn’t make it a bad game. Design for the cards and the play surface are decent and makes the game seem less difficult if you’re just starting out.

You can choose the difficulty level and playing is done using just the mouse. As far as settings go there’s not much going on there either but after all, what really do you need to change? It’s a card game.

On a closing note, Trix is a decent app to have around if you’re into this card game. It doesn’t offer a lot in terms of looks and neither does it make things interesting in any way. It’s built to be a basic card game and it does a good job being just that.
