The mouse is used to pick up the logs that trail behind, which is a continuous process and a very important one. It’s also possible to pick up other slaves and more logs along the way, depending on how many blocks you wish to carry.

Every now and again you have to avoid certain traps that block the way forward, such as fire pits. These can burn your logs and leave you with nothing to push the blocks, so it’s vital that you use the water vases from the background to put out the fires. All of these things add a lot of pressure on the player, and it can actually be too much most of the time.
