Sunrider: First Arrival

Sunrider: First Arrival is visual novel game with strong tactical and role-playing elements where you will have to save a galaxy from evil.

Take on the role of Captain Kayto Shields, an experienced fighter who receives command of one of the latest ships constructed. Just when he gets on board an attack like the Alliance has never seen before hits and most of the forces are destroyed.

Managing to barely escape our brave captain is now the only hope of stopping the evil forces that invaded the galaxy.

This is no ordinary visual novel game, even if most is formed out of story elements, you will be able to interact a lot more than in traditional games. Besides choosing the lines of dialogue and influences the story of the game, you'll also be able to travel aboard the ship to its different rooms, to access the galaxy map and travel to various locations and even take part in turn-based battles against pirates or other enemies.

You must make friends with different captains and learn their back stories in order to help them. Once they’ve completed their mission, they will join your cause and fight side by side with you. Remember to invest in research and upgrading weapons because enemies will only get stronger.

As the gaming world is in a continuous change, this game has adapted and became something more, a hybrid between a role-playing game and a visual novel. Not only it has adapted, but in my opinion this adaptation is also successful.
