Sounds of Her Love ~ We'll always be together ~

Note: This game is a direct continuation of where Sounds of Her Love left off, so it would be recommended that you play the games in order for the story to make better sense.

Few independent developers manage to pull off a successful visual novel all the way to the end and make it memorable enough for gamers. Even fewer are those who manage to finished game in such a way that it garnered enough popularity to merit a sequel, and that is precisely how Sounds of Her Love ~ We'll always be together ~ came to be.

(Spoiler for the first game) The story picks up where Sounds of Her Love left off, with you and Ceri being together now, so the dialogue abandons most of the tropes of fidgeting and shy conversations, and delves into more serious matters as to where this relationship is heading. Ceri, however, remains as cute as ever, and more often than naught you'll feel like you're not talking to your girlfriend, but still someone who you're trying to win over.

Not much (if anything) of the art style has changed as opposed to the first title, and that is probably a bit of a let-down, since you were probably expecting some new characters to be introduced. While new people do appear in the story, they are never actually shown, as their presence is made through dialogue only. More so, the game recycles most previous locations as well, so the only novelty aspect about this title is the story itself.

If you were rooting for your love with Ceri in the first game, then Sounds of Her Love ~ We'll always be together ~ is just what the doctor ordered.
