Rome Puzzle

Rome Puzzle is a match three game that’s a bit different from the ones you’ve probably played. Sure, the goal of each board remains the same, you have to match three or more identical tiles in order to remove them and after you’ve done so with enough, the round is won.

The difference factor here is that each tile you remove transforms into resource which you then use to build a forge, sawmill and more.

Throughout the game you will be matching a wide range of tile types. You’ll get to use gold coins, axes, silver coins, all kinds of ore and even food. Each tile needs to be matched with a minimum of two other ones so that they vanish from the board and be replaced with new ones.

Everything is random, you don’t know what tiles appear next so you need to keep an eye out for those that fit together because if you waste too much time, you may lose the level. Apart from the challenge of matching and removing, you also have to face cases when a portion of the board is blocked off and you have less space to play.

Sometimes you simply can’t spot tiles that fit next to each other and the game often helps you out by highlighting some that can be swapped. Other times, you might find yourself staring at the board without spotting any possible combination and for this reason, bonuses like a pickaxe or a lightning bolt can be won and used to destroy specific tiles.

Rome Puzzle is a decent game. It remains true to its genre and should provide fans with a pleasant experience for the entire time they play it.
