Project CARS - Pagani Edition
Experience the thrill of driving a Pagani automobile in this realistic simulator sporting exquisite graphics #Project cars #Racing game #Racing sim #Racing #Sim #Race
Cars are anything but simple, especially modern ones. Things get even more complex when we enter the realm of racing cars, because the speeds and forces they have to deal with are too much for regular vehicles to withstand. Believe it or not, on the other hand, regular (but rich) drivers have access to the latest in racing technology as well, thanks to a special category of cars known as hypercars.
Project CARS - Pagani Edition is a free-to-play edition of the popular Project CARS game, and it provides you with the opportunity to try the game free of charge for as long as you wish, with a couple of drawbacks, obviously. The first and most important of these is the fact that you only have five cars and three tracks at your disposal, as well as just two game modes to choose from.
Whether you want to race against the AI or try to beat a world record in one of the fastest hypercars on the planet, the whole point of this game is to make you desire the full version. Despite the poor selection of cars and tracks, the gameplay is exactly the same as in the complete game, which means that you get a good feel of the mechanics and the physics engine, as well as the rest of the components that make or break a racing sim.
Since this is is first and foremost a simulator, you should probably avoid using a keyboard if possible, because it’s very difficult to control 800BHP with a binary acceleration pedal. Hence, a controller is advised, but it’s obviously better to invest in a racing wheel if you truly want to experience every race like you are in the driver’s seat.
To help you with that, Project CARS - Pagani Edition comes with the same luxurious graphics as the original game, and it’s worth noting that every car looks gorgeous. In fact, you can even see individual components moving around if you happen to knock off the hood, and you can bet every line and curve respects the original designs. To make matters even better, the game supports VR headsets, so that’s about as immersive as a racing game can get.
Even if Project CARS - Pagani Edition is obviously going to get boring in a rush due to the lack of content, the game’s purpose is to convince you to buy the whole thing, and it might just do that. On the other hand, it all depends on whether you find the simulation to your liking, because the fans appear to be split between Forza, Assetto Corsa and Project CARS.
