PrisonBrawl
Break up a prison fight and catch the prisoners in order to take them back to their cells. #Fighting game #Arcade brawl #Prison fight #Fight #Prison #Brawl
Prisons are obviously not very friendly places, especially those where the most hardcore criminals are kept in order to separate them from the less violent individuals. Hence, murder and violence are more than common in prisons all over the world, so it’s no wonder that it can be quite stressful to be a prison guard and wake up in the middle of an inmate riot.
PrisonBrawl is not your typical fighting game, especially when you consider the hilarious gameplay mechanics and the simple graphics. In essence, the game is designed to help you relax and have some fun, so it’s not realistic in any way when it comes to the actual fighting techniques. On the other hand, the silly combat is what makes the game shine.
In short, you play the role of a prison guard by the name of Adam. As it happens, a riot starts just after Adam gets his new job, which means that he must deal with a very dangerous situation on his first day on the job. The goal of the game is for Adam to capture ten inmates and put them back in the cell, but that’s much easier said than done.
Adam has a handful of special abilities under his belt, depending on whether you want to kick, punch, or even tackle an individual in order to subdue him. On top of that, you can also use a special power called Bullet Time, which allows Adam to become invincible for a short while and move a lot faster. After that, you must drag the inmates to a cell and make sure they stay there.
As for the graphics, don’t expect anything too exciting, although this is of very little consequence to the actual experience. Thus, every prisoner looks the same, and they barely have faces anyway. However, the best thing about the game is the physics engine, because it’s a blast to watch the characters jump, tackle each other and trip on random objects as they are trying to have a fight at the same time.
In the end, PrisonBrawl is actually much better than you would expect going in, not to mention the fact that it’s also quite challenging. Hence, it should be able to keep you busy for a while, even if there’s no real story or a proper set of missions.
