Planetoid Defense for Windows 8

Planetoid Defense is a tower defense game where you will choose a planet, build lots of turrets and make sure it's safe from asteroids.

Before starting the game you will have to choose from 5 different races. Choose carefully as some towers are unique. if you don't know how to play tower defense games, or you think this space strategy game is quite hard, you can try to complete the interactive tutorial first.

There are different planet types and different colors so you can make each game unique. You start out with just a little money and you will have to destroy incoming threats in order to gain more.

With lots of different towers to choose from, you must place them carefully on the planet's surface because there is a limited number of towers you can build. If you think some towers are obsolete, just sell them and build others. Make sure you constantly upgrade your towers by improving their: turn rate, fire rate, range or power.

A thing I liked about this tower defense is that you can choose a tower and gain control over it, so if you think your missiles are not very well guided, just guide them yourself. You can give up control with the push of button.

With lots of different towers with unique abilities and tons of upgrades, the game is quite challenging. It has achievements you can win and a local highscore list so you can compete with your friends.

The game is endless so if you like tower defense there's a pretty good chance this will become your favorite game.
