Nemesis - Gradiarse
Mike Smith has taken the original, kept the 2D aspect of it and bought it to life within the confines of DarkBASIC. #Nemesis - Gradiarse #Nemesis remake #Shoot up #Nemesis #Gradiarse #Remake
When the original came out I was a massive fan of the Nemesis. I owned an 8-bit MSX which was a really good home computer, hailing from Japan, that never really caught on over here.
One advantage was that it had a cartridge port and you could get some excellent games including most Konami titles such as Nemesis and it's sequel Gradius.
Mike Smith has taken the original, kept the 2D aspect of it and bought it to life within the confines of DarkBASIC and the result is damned fine!
Nemesis is your traditional shoot-em-up and power-em-up, you shoot the waves of baddies, they leave behind power-up pods which add to your overall power-up status bar at the bottom and when you've collected enough you can add something to your ship (such as twin shots, lazers, speed-up, etc).
