Major Mayhem for Windows 8

Major Mayhem is an action packed shooter in which you take the role of a veteran solder sent by the president to defeat the evil ninja forces and rescue your kidnapped girlfriend in the process.

As soon as you have your mission briefing from the president, our hero starts on a quest that spans over 48 action-packed levels in three beautifully rendered environments: Tropics, Metropolis, and Desert.

What's even more fun is that our hero runs and gets into cover automatically so you don't need to take care of this aspect. This also allows you to concentrate on firing your weapon, avoiding enemy shurikens and helping the hostages.

As you complete one mission after another, your soldier will gain experience, which will procedurally unlock new cool weapons to use on the battlefield, power-ups, and awesome outfits to equip him.

From the classic pistol and Uzi submachine gun to sniper rifles, miniguns, bazzokas, and even a plasma rifle, Major Mayhem manages to offer lots of diversity when it comes to the weapons you can use during each mission.

Besides the Classic mode in which you get to play through the whole story, the game also offers three other modes (Timebomb, Arcade, and Survival) that will further put your skills to the test after you've finished the main campaign.

To make things even more interesting, Major Mayhem also gives you the chance to earn more cash and improve your rank by completing no more than 150 different objectives that range from killing a number of enemies to shooting lots of chickens.

Major Mayhem might not take advantage of the latest graphics but, the title manages to keep you interested through its addictive gameplay and wide range of options offered with each level you complete.

Going through all the missions in the campaign will require quite a few hours of gameplay but, if that's not enough, the game also gives you the chance to acquire new outfits, weapons, and power-ups, as well as unlocking three new game modes for countless hours of shooting mayhem.
