Lada 9 The Vaz 2109 Game is an arcade racing game in which you get to freely drive around a map full of ramps and interesting obstacles. To make things even better, there are other cars on the map at the same time, and you have to compete with them for the stars. However, don’t expect too much fun either, because the mechanics are very basic and disappointing.

To begin with, you only have one car at your disposal, although that much is obvious from the name of the game. Even so, at least it’s possible to change its color and have some kind of say on the matter. After that’s settled, you are thrown onto a rather empty map, with a few ramps that are difficult to climb unless you pick up a lot of speed, which is not easy when the AI is constantly crashing into you.

As mentioned before, your goal is to collect colorful stars, which are strategically placed on the ramps to be as difficult to get as possible. They do not seem to do anything once you pick them up, on the other hand, which is yet another disappointment. The AI appears to be faster than you, so it has the upper hand when it comes to causing trouble.

Lastly, the graphics are a bit of a letdown as well, but not because the engine is not capable of offering more. Instead, it’s the level design that disappoints the most, because there’s nothing to see, even if the map itself is fairly small. The cars are very simple too, and there’s no excuse for this, given the fact that there’s only one model anyway.

Even if the idea sounds nice in theory, Lada 9 The Vaz 2109 Game fails to provide the players with any kind of meaningful fun. Thus, there’s not enough variety or content to keep one busy for more than a few minutes.
