Knife 2 Meat U

Those of you with a soft spot for seafood probably know what surimi or crab's legs) are, and you probably eat them up like breadsticks, but did you ever think about the crabs themselves? Knife 2  Meat U is a short 15-minute adventure, exploration, and puzzle solving game that puts you in the shoes (do crab have shoes?) of a disgruntles crab that managed to get his hands (or claws) on a kitchen knife and is out for revenge.

The game looks quite good considering the lightweight feel to it, and it also moves very well even on low-end PCs. The environment is neatly done in an almost pixel-shaded art-style, and the physics are quite good although they still need some polishing. As far as character control goes, the crab you have is a bit tricky to move around, and even the slightest camera angle change will make him change course as well, making it tricky for the crab to traverse narrow ledges.

Your objective is to get from your small pond inside the human's house and stab them, but that isn't as simple as it may sound since your road from lake to inside the house is riddled with obstacles which you and your tiny crustacean brain must solve. You can use your knife to destroy objects and solve puzzles before you face the biggest bad a crab has ever seen other than a wooden mallet. The only downside to this enjoyable game is the short playtime, as a quick run after you know all the obstacles by heart will last less than 15 minutes.

Knife 2  Meat U isn't a title that takes itself too seriously, and neither should you. It is just what you may want if you are on a break or are bored during a Sunday afternoon and are looking for a quick laugh.
