Kingdoms and Lords is a strategy game in which you get control over a small rural village that suddenly finds itself under heavy attacks conducted by Barbarian forces.

One of the most important aspects of the game is developing your village to be able to withstand the attacks of these ruthless invaders. To achieve that, you will have to carefully manage your resources and build new structures that will provide the means to fight back.

As you slowly start to turn your village into a mighty kingdom, you will earn more money and unlock new buildings that will offer a wide variety of choices regarding your resource production and military capabilities.

To make things even better, you can upgrade these buildings to increase production, grow your army and acquire better weapons for your soldiers. This will allow you to raise a powerful army that will be capable of protecting your kingdom against rivals.

Kingdoms and Lords is not only about building a powerful settlement and preventing the barbarians and other foes from destroying it. The game also gives you the chance to prove to your friends that you have the best army by allowing you to launch attacks against their defenses.

For extra protection, you can also make alliances with your friends which will help you visit their kingdoms and get unique rewards.

There's also an in-game currency (diamonds) that will allow you to skip long construction or recruiting times and even purchase new spells, skills or special items for your troops.

Graphics are not that great, but that won't count much after a few hours when Kingdoms and Lords will become totally addictive. The game requires quite a lot of time to take care of the multitude of actions that can be performed when managing an entire kingdom, but you can quickly skip this by purchasing diamonds.
