How it all started

Travel to Greece where Helen, the daughter of Zeus herself, will receive you and will show you around. Knowing that you're a famous warrior and you want to create a mighty empire, she designates Socrates to help you start building your first city.

Your first city is located on an island and it's your job to make it grow to a rich and powerful capital.

Strategy and waiting

Building structures will require time. The higher the level of the structure or the more complex, the higher the waiting time. This means you're left with nothing to do while waiting for the building to get finished.

The first thing you must make sure your city has are the resource buildings. Build mines, farms and lumber mills so that you have the necessary materials to develop your city.

After building the structures that will provide you with resources, it's time to build the barracks and start making an army for yourself. Conquer each village on the island and make your way towards others.

There are many fighting units you can recruit from the barracks including some exclusive Greek warriors like the hoplites. If you're searching for fighting ships you can find the in the harbor building.

Addictive and beyond...

The game is time consuming so if you're a grown man with a steady job this may not be the right game for you, unless you're really into the Greek culture and mythology. Even though the game is very complex with lots of resources, units and possibilities, the graphics could be better.
