If you are not familiar with the previous game in this three-part series, Lonely Wolf Treat tells the story of Treat, a wolf who cannot make any friends in a town full of rabbits. That is, of course, until a friendly bunny by the name of Mochi offers to cook her up some curry.

Friendly Bunny Mochi follows the rabbit’s continuous struggle to make everyone friends with one another, even the most unlikely of creatures. It is a charming casual RPG that will melt your heart and teach you some valuable life lessons in the process.

When you stop to think about it, Mochi’s desire for everyone to be friends is not exactly outlandish. It is, however, something many of her friends are unwilling to accept, as predators getting along with their natural prey is not exactly common.

Nevertheless, our bunny hero will give it everything she’s got to make it happen. Not one to shy away from a challenge, she will even offer to be friends with a fox that has just threatened to eat her. Naive, perhaps, but how can you ever make friends without trusting anyone?

When Mochi runs into Moxie for the first time, her greeting comes in the form of a dinner invitation – with the bunny as the main course. Undaunted, the rabbit unleashes an onslaught of niceness that the hungry fox cannot hope to withstand.

Our hero treats everyone in her life pretty much the same way, even her cousin Juju who insists all predators are to be avoided. It is no surprise that your next quest is to find a suitable substitute for bunny meat that your new fox friend can enjoy.

While the pure adorableness may obscure everything else this game has to offer, it provides a valuable life lesson that many people need to learn: you cannot hope to make the world better if you treat people with suspicion based on anything other than their own actions.

Seriousness aside, Friendly Bunny Mochi is a cavity-inducing adventure that is perfect for anyone who wants to lighten up after a difficult day. Since this is just the second in a three-part series, don't forget to play Clever Fox Moxie, the game that wraps up the story.
