Duck's Inferno
Help the Royal Duck to escape the Nine Circles of Dantes Hell in this endless runner #Endless runner #Arcade shooter #Dante's Inferno #Endless runner #Demon #Dante's Inferno
Duck’s Inferno is a combination between an endless runner and arcade space shooter. It’s not the best of both worlds, but it does feature some interesting and unique artwork.
It often happens for developers to have some amazing artwork, but not the gameplay that can match that. The same can be said about Duck’s Inferno, which seems interesting enough, especially if you like the artwork, but it lacks depth. It would have been nice to see more content than just an endless runner, but we’ll settle with what we get.
Endless runners are games in a genre for people on the run, for gamers that want to do something on their way to work. You get a character that runs all the time, and you’re the only job is to guide it so that it doesn’t crash into anything. Sounds simple enough, but that’s not really the case, at least not always. It’s possible to have interesting games in this genre, but it doesn’t happen all that often.
The developers from GRom Games are saying something about the nine circles of Hell, from Dante’s work, but that’s just an excuse. The truth of the matter is that you control a duck that’s flying upwards, and that seems to have a scythe.
Since you only control some aspects of the movement, you won’t be bombarded with a lot of things to do. For the most part, you only have to click in the screen when you want to cut something. A few of the enemies are tougher than others, and they will require more hits, and other enemies are even capable of firing back.
The player can also gather upgrades for the speed, the weapon, and life, which will greatly extend any run through the game. From time to time, players will also face a boss fight, but they won’t be incredibly difficult.
Duck’s Inferno was originally built for the mobile platform, and that can be observed easily in the interface, with links to the mobile stores and all sorts of promotions that are only available for mobile users.
