Angels are always portrayed as being white and pure, especially in graphic representations such as paintings or drawings. However, maybe fashion has become a more important element up in heavens in the meantime, which prompted the angels to try out something different for a change. In this game, you have the chance to see whether you can improve the outfit of an angel with a variety of clothes.

Cute Angel Dressup is a casual makeover game with a rather unique theme, in the sense that you do not have the usual Barbie/Hannah Montana girl model posing for you. Instead, you must put your creativity to work on a holy being from heaven, which, granted, is a bit more serious in a way. On the other hand, the game is just as fun and as simple as the rest in the genre.

To begin with, you have a pretty hefty selection of dresses, blouses and skirts to choose from, all of which can be combined in a variety of ways. The dresses range from the usual pure white to sparkly gold, although there is also a silver one that’s significantly shorter than what you would expect an angel to wear. You can also choose a particular hairstyle as well, which also come in a variety of interesting colors.

Since the holy model comes with a pre-applied makeup, your next task is to choose an appropriate pair of shoes to integrate into the outfit. A wide variety of cute accessories are available as well, including necklaces, earrings and a few hairpins. To top things off, you can even add a few white pigeons to complete the holy picture.

While the gameplay part is more or less what you would expect in the genre, the technical components are pretty much the same too. In essence, the visuals are smooth and colorful, with nice models for both the character and the clothes you have at your disposal. A soothing music track plays in the background in the meantime, which is pretty nice, at least for a while.

When it’s all said and done, Cute Angel Dressup manages to achieve its goal and provide the players with a pretty good time, as long as you are interested in the genre. However, the gameplay is a bit lackluster and the clothes are just not very different from each other, which results in a repetitive experience.
