However, they need help with their latest find, and that’s where you come into the picture. In fact, it’s even possible to choose your own name, so the adventure feels a lot more personal than in many other visual novels.

Dialog is the most important part of the game, since there are not many interactive scenes that allow you to change things about the story, so your time is mostly spent reading the text. However, every now and again you can make a choice that affects the plot, although you shouldn’t expect too much regard.

As for the graphics, they are not particularly impressive, but the style is certainly great, especially when it comes to colors and attention to detail. Every background received a lot of attention, and even if the characters look incredibly weird, you can tell that a lot of work went into them. The soundtrack isn’t too bad either, although it’s a bit too short.

In the end, Chook and Sosig is obviously not the kind of game that will be remembered a few months down the road, but it shows potential when it comes to artwork and the writing. Hence, the developer’s next projects should be a lot better and polished.
