Bloodline Champions, thank you for not having lanes to push, towers to demolish and clones upon clones of minions to kill for a few pieces of gold. Bloodline Champions, thank you for focusing your entire gameplay to what perfectly describes PvP in MOBAs.

Bloodline Champions is a breath of fresh air (although it’s been around for quite some time now), and while compared to other MOBAs, in a lot of ways, it puts their understanding of PvP to shame. Here, you pick a hero, enter the arena and do exactly what you’re supposed to do, fight.

No time is wasted with farming, leveling up, buying items, raging, flaming at your team members, worrying about towers and then some more raging. In Bloodline Champions, you fight to the best of your abilities, constantly, and that’s that.

Moreover, unlike in other titles where heroes have four skills (with one or two probably passives), in Bloodline Champions there are seven to use and all active. Six are there to do damage and one is for evasive purposes but you can very well used it to charge back into battle. It truly is a game that focuses everything into combat and individual skill makes all the difference. You simply won’t have time to rage at your team through chat because the fighting never stops.

Melee and ranged, tank, support, damage dealer or general chaos maker, Bloodline Champions has them all. There are a lot of bloodlines to choose from and each character one comes with a totally unique arsenal of ways to kill you.

If you’re transitioning from MOBAs like League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and Dota 2, you’ll need to go through the tutorial and some bot practice sessions. No matter how experienced you are, there will be moments when you’ll be left behind by the upbeat rhythm of the fights.

Apart from the constant possibility that the guy you just barely stunned get’s kicked a few feet back by another eager fighter, and a third ‘steals’ the kill you might be upset by the large fonts for damage, crits, dots and player names. Before you play, turn that stuff off, it’s distracting.

To wrap it up, although there is a lot more good stuff to speak off, such as the trait points leveling system, outfits and weapons, Bloodline Champions is totally great. You can’t help but enjoy the constant fighting and lack of dull moments.
