Beyond the Horizon: Firestorm for Windows 8

Beyond the Horizon: Firestorm is an arcade platformer with shooting and puzzle elements where you will have to explore a strange planet in search of precious fuel.

In the last episode of Beyond the Horizon, Deuk's base was confronted by a large group of unknown attackers. Using his superior fighting skills, our hero managed to keep them at bay, but was finally overwhelmed so the only remaining option was to flee.

He headed for the planet Vire in order to acquire some much needed fuel for his ship. Using the last of his fuel, Deuk manages to land on a service wing of an atmosphere siphoning station. Due to the fact that the planet's atmosphere is rich on fuel compounds, you shouldn't have a hard time finding the needed fuel for the ship. Or so you think.

Created for Windows 8, the game will allow users to choose if they want to play the game using the touch control surface (for tablet and smartphone users) or if they want to interact using the classic keyboard and mouse (for PC users).

You will have to make your way around the planet while shooting enemies and using your telekinetic device to move around. Metal crates can be moved and attached to the right devices, while strange green gravitation gimmicks are used to travel to areas where there are gaps.

The game is quite nice and despite its low screen size (on PCs) you will have a lot of good time exploring the dangerous planet, especially with an unlimited number of lives.
