Animals Puzzle is quite straightforward with its theme and purpose, because it tells you everything you need to know right from the title. As such, that is exactly what you get once you open the application, namely a bunch of jigsaw puzzles featuring pictures of animals. They may be cartoon animals, but that only makes it more casual and relaxing to enjoy, especially for the younger audience.

It is worth noting that the difficulty level is not exactly what you might expect, because you are free to spam the game with many actions at once. This is possible because you cannot drag-and-drop the pieces around freely. Instead, you have to click on them and then on the spot where you think they fit. However, there’s nothing stopping you from clicking on all of the available positions, which is especially easy to achieve toward the end of the puzzle.

Granted, you are allowed to choose the difficulty level in the beginning, but that only affects the number of pieces the image is broken into. Other than that, nothing else changes, and it doesn’t get any more difficult to just spam the program with many commands at once. Hence, this minor annoyance might affect the overall experience a bit, especially if you do not like being guided all the way to the correct answer.

Visually, there’s not a lot one could complain about, especially since the actual puzzle images and pieces are the only objects on the screen anyway. Speaking of which, the pictures are all very cartoony and amusing, which means that children should have a wonderful time playing the game. A soothing soundtrack plays in the background, complete with a few calming sound effects, such as birds and the like.

When it’s all said and done, Animals Puzzle may have its fair share of flaws and it may be a tad too simple for adults to get into, but that doesn’t mean you cannot have a lot of fun with it. Hence, unless you are searching for something more complicated, this can provide you with quite a bit of entertainment on the long run.
