Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge is an arcade platformer in which you play as Serena, an angry woman who goes on a quest to find a troll who made fun of her. The goal is to defeat all the enemies along the way using a variety of weapons and special abilities, but the task is quite difficult if you are new to the genre and you are not used to the fast-paced gameplay mechanics.

There are a few shoot 'em up sequences as well in which you control a spaceship, so the gameplay changes quite a bit along the way. Most of your time is spent shooting enemies with Serena, so it's important to keep her alive through a variety of challenges. It can be tricky sometimes, but a lot of practice usually helps in the long run.

The graphics are designed to make you feel like you are playing something from the 90s, but the artwork is lovely and quite colorful. The same can be said about the soundtrack, which is very important in such cases, because it keeps you from getting bored in the process.

As it always happens with hardcore platformers such as this one, the difficulty level can be a bit too much sometimes, especially if you are new to the genre. In such cases, you can make use of a trainer to make things easier, and this one can do the same with Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge. Thus, you can activate the cheat and get infinite lives, which should make things a lot easier to deal with.
