My Time At Portia is a sandbox simulation game in which you get to be part of a colorful town an do your best to integrate. Almost everything regarding the story is left up to you, given the fact that you can engage in a variety of random activities, but there are plenty of interesting characters to meet as well. Not only that, but you can also complete missions for them and even help them with their daily chores.

However, most of your time is spent working on your own life, and there are plenty of professions to choose from. Crafting is a major component too, but you need materials and resources in order to take advantage of it. It's possible to fish, cut down trees and do a variety of other things in order to acquire what you need to craft specific objects.

In case farming sounds a bit too boring for you, combat is not out of the picture either, and you can easily explore dungeons and defeat the monsters that hide there. This also rewards you with goodies and resources, but you obviously need to be well-equipped in order to fight the tougher enemies. In short, the game aims to be a complete sandbox, with something to offer for every kind of player.

Not everyone appreciates the grind behind the crafting component, however, which is why trainers like this one exist.
