Mass Effect is an action game that features a great story that shifts according to your decisions and also comes with plenty of tactical fights.

In the game you play as commander Shepard but he can be shaped into one of the many available classes (soldier, engineer, adept, infiltrator, sentinel and vanguard). The game also relies on a Morality System which dictates how the story ends according to the choices you make.

This affects not only the ending of the current game but also the way it carries out in the next two installments. Shepard can choose to have two squad members present at any given time which help him in combat. Each one is unique and like the main character, is gifted with a series of special abilities.
