Heldric - The legend of the shoemaker is a mashup of tower defense and hack & slash mechanics, in which your goal is to defend positions and mount offensives at the same time. Naturally, the idea is far from original, but it's fairly well executed, and you can have a lot of fun when you have to split your attention between defending and attacking all the time.

In short, you have to upgrade and protect a village before it is overwhelmed by various enemies. You unlock more and more types of towers along the way, but the opponents get tougher as well, so the challenge is always up there. However, you also get to have a more personal role in the action, since you are free to fight the enemies from a top-down point of view.

To keep things from getting boring and repetitive, the villages are randomly generated every time, and so are the enemies, in a way. Their stats and equipment vary from playthrough to playthrough, so it's important to pay attention to these things when you decide on a strategy. Pure damage is not always the answer, but it can solve many problems if you are consistent about it.

In case things prove to be a tad too difficult for you, this trainer can make the experience a lot more accessible, even facile. Thus, you can use it to activate the infinite health cheat, which allows you to never worry about hit points again and just see where the story leads. You can also add as much money as you want with a simple key press.
