Dead Island Retro Revenge +2 Trainer

Dead Island was a very popular zombie shooter/survival game from a few years back, mainly because it looked really nice from a visual point of view, and the survival aspects were pretty well integrated too. Granted, it's difficult to stay excited about a zombie flick for too long, especially in this day and age when there are dozens of zombie shooters coming out every year.

Dead Island Retro Revenge is a spin on the original game, since it features retro 2D graphics and a way less complex gameplay, given the fact that it's actually a runner game with simple beat 'em up elements. Hence, the goal is to run from zombies and kill the ones that get in your way, although that's obviously easier said than done.

You can make use of a handful of special abilities along the way, which help you deal with the pesky undead, because they also get stronger later on. The pace of the game increases as well, so you must move quicker and react faster to everything happening around you.

It's a bit of a bummer to see that the beat 'em up mechanics are almost non-existent, given the fact that this is more of an arcade flick with twitch mechanics and no real strategy involved. It's also a huge bummer that you cannot use weapons, especially when you consider what the game stems from.

Even so, the difficulty level can be a bit daunting after a while, mainly because the levels get quicker and quicker later on. You can avoid the challenge by making use of this trainer, on the other hand, which allows you to easily get to the end by providing you with infinite health and infinity energy for your attacks.

It must be mentioned that the trainer only works if you have the Steam version of Dead Island Retro Revenge.
