Cogmind is a retro-looking roguelike game with sci-fi elements, in which you get to explore a procedural world and build a robot from scratch in order to survive nasty environments. You can choose from a variety of parts and pieces to make your robot better, but a fair bit of strategy is still required in order to survive the ordeal, especially since any death you suffer is final and you have to start from the beginning every time.

As mentioned before, the game features a sci-fi theme, so the environments you explore look more like ASCII characters than an actual world. This is how the robot sees the world, on the other hand, so it shouldn't come as a surprise. The interface is actually very helpful and easy to understand, which is great news in a roguelike.

Naturally, it's important to collect powerful weapons and equip them on your robot, because the enemies get tougher and tougher as you move on through the levels. You can even specialize yourself on hacking, sword fighting and various other things, which makes every playthrough unique, especially when you also consider the procedural levels.

Lastly, the roguelike genre is not known for making things easy. In case you do not have the necessary patience to make it through some of the more difficult sections, you can use this trainer to take advantage of infinite energy and as many resources as you need to get through the game. It's also possible to disable system corruption and heat, which also comes in handy.
